Bio

Anita Hinton is an Executive Coach that has been in leadership development for over 20 years. Her 35 years of government service, coupled with her passion for training and development, makes her well suited to hone best practices and build strong, productive, and engaged teams. She has lead hundreds and trained thousands of individuals and teams ranging in positions from individual contributors to senior executives. She believes the goal of leadership learning and development is to create self-awareness and then transition that awareness into positive and lasting action in both personal and professional environments.
Anita is the recipient of numerous awards for building and managing successful leadership development programs. She is skilled at coaching clients in building self-awareness, managing change, managing conflict, developing direct reports, and communicating and leading with impact. She believes the most effective leaders and organizations are those who understand and commit to building diverse and inclusive teams. This commitment leads to equity and equity leads to stronger relationships, more engaged and happier employees, and more productive organizations.
Anita is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico. She enjoys cooking, baking and is an avid sports fan. She is married, has two adult children, a grandson, and lives in Northern Virginia.
