Leadership and Team Coach
Ann Deaton, PCC is a leadership and team coach, and group facilitator. Ann received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with specializations in neuropsychology and health psychology, from The University of Texas. After a two-decade career in health care, she earned her coaching certification from the Newfield Network and the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coach Federation. She founded DaVinci Resources coaching practice in 2003, and co-founded The Bounce Collective coaching and consulting business in 2009. Ann’s work focuses on coaching individuals, teams, and groups who are experiencing significant change and growth. She facilitates workshops and team-building sessions for corporate, nonprofit, and government clients. Ann’s strengths are in creating the kinds of rich and open sessions that expand perspectives and ideas – and then supporting others while holding them accountable as they take action to realize their goals. Ann is experienced with numerous assessment tools including the Leadership Circle 360, TILT, LPI and other 360 feedback tools, Conflict Dynamics Profile, Change Style Indicator, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, StrengthsFinder 2.0, and others. She is credentialed in specialized approaches including Polarity Thinking, Appreciative Inquiry, Conversational Intelligence, and The Empowerment Dynamic. Ann serves on the faculty for The University of Texas at Dallas Executive Coach Training Program and facilitates one-day courses for the Center for Corporate Education at Virginia Commonwealth University and for The Community Foundation of Central Virginia. Ann is co-author, with Holly Williams, of the book Being Coached: Group and Team Coaching from the Inside.
