Laura McCafferty is the Principal of Inspired Coaching & Development and is a certified Executive Coach, workshop designer and facilitator. Laura represents a new kind of leader who links action, value, meaning, and healthy spaces for human interaction. She cares deeply about cultivating significant growth in others around leadership, team, community to address the current challenges for which our world is calling. Laura’s career spans over 18-years working with organizational change & culture, corporate communications and leadership development. She has worked internationally with leaders and executives in a variety of industries. Laura also coaches for the TED Fellows Program and has coached leaders at the Unreasonable Institute. Another aspect of Laura’s business has her dedicated to offering self-care programs for women. Laura acted as President of the Leadership Society of Vancouver Island for several years, and is the founder of the Mid-Island Coaches Network. She has served with the Young Professionals association, has worked as Director for the Vancouver Island Coaches Association and has been recognized as a Finalist two-years running in the Community and Business Achievement Awards. Laura has her certificate in the Art of Developmental Coaching, Conversational Intelligence, Coaching Happiness, Harvard’s Immunity to Change and is a certified Strengths Coach. She holds the Professional Certified Coach designation granted by the International Coach Federation as well as an undergraduate degree from the University of Manitoba. Living on Canada’s west coast offers Laura, her husband and their cherished dog, a rewarding and fulfilling life.
