Les Howard

I am a Literacy Consultant, which means I work with educators, and sometimes students, focusing on developing literacy in elementary classrooms. I also coach educators and help develop educational coaches. I have been involved in education in two countries for 40 plus years. My interest in coaching stems from working with, and observing, adults and students learn in diverse situations.

I am born in Australia lived there for almost 40 years and now have resided in the United States for the last 20 years. I lived on an ocean-going yacht in San Francisco Bay for many years but now live in the mid-west, in a house, with a nice photo of the yacht on the wall.

I love being outside; hiking, biking, running, cross-country skiing, and travelling through this beautiful land. A good book, music, companionship and beautiful scenery make life great.
