Biography
Bio | CAPT Candace Hander – has 25 years of experience in the federal government and serves as an officer with the US Public Health Service, and now serves with the FDA- Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. In 2011, Candace developed the first internal coaching program in FDA/CDER, where she serves as an internal coach working with general staff, new and emerging leaders. She also functions as a Training and Organization Development officer where she develops and leads training programs. She holds the ACC credential with the International Coaching Federation, has logged over 300 coaching hours, and has 6 years of experience as a coach. Additionally, she has served as a Mentor coach for 2 cohorts of the Federal Internal Coach Training Program. She trained in the Ontological Coaching approach through the Newfield Network, and has pursued additional coursework from the ADD Coaching Academy. She holds additional certifications in active learning, Instructional Design, Myers-Briggs, the Kirkpatrick training evaluation model, and is a certified facilitator for the Arbinger Outward Mindset program to name a few. Candace is passionate about helping others excel and teaches classes on communication and networking whenever she can.
