Biography

Bio

Cari’s several lives have led her on many impossible adventures across the planet. Originally hailing from the great Midwestern state of Ohio, she once apologetically confessed to studying with Jürgen Habermas, a towering figure of twentieth century philosophy. She thinks he’s “a kind old man.” Cari has survived her chute not opening during skydiving, sang on the latest Indigo Girls album, and was a golf caddy for ‘Klinger’ from MASH. She has helped support a deal between a tuna-pickling women’s cooperative and local fishermen in Lakshadweep.

Cari began her career in the mid-90s with PricewaterhouseCoopers. She is a facilitator, coach, and entrepreneur, and sees herself as an individual and organizational midwife. Her clients have included HSBC, KPMG, BP, Cadbury Schweppes, the British Council, and the British National Health Service. Cari is a cofounder of Future Considerations, a consultancy focused on organizational change. Cari is also cofounder and co-CEO of Birthwise, supporting leaders in maternal and infant health.

Cari graduated with a BA in Philosophy and International Studies from Northwestern University, and has studied Intercultural Communication at a graduate level. She holds certifications in organizational values and culture, family and organizational systems, somatics, and executive and ontological coaching.

She is passionate about learning, creating and birthing healthy systems, and loving her 2 sons in Colorado. Cari is an avid bikram yoga junkie.
