Jack Van Wyk

As a former financial services executive and global leader turned facilitator and coach, Jack is passionate about connecting people and helping them grow into their full leadership potential.

In his early 20s, Jack arrived in America with two travel bags, very little money and a dream. After cultivating a successful 15 year career in financial services, he left as a Managing Director at BlackRock, with responsibility for 160 people in 11 locations globally. Following his resignation announcement, a colleague gave him a handwritten farewell note starting with: “The company has lost a maverick and amazingly effective leader.”

Jack is a CFA charterholder and has a master’s degree in financial management from Boston University and 2 bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from the University of the Free State in South Africa, where he grew up. He serves on the Advisory Board of the Newfield Network, a personal development and executive coach training organization. Jack is a certified yoga teacher and massage therapist, enjoys traveling, and calls San Francisco home.
