Jody Michael brings over 20 years of experience coaching C-level executives and leadership teams, logging more than 40,000 one-on-one coaching hours. She leverages a results-oriented coaching methodology that combines the best of applied research in neuroscience, psychology, and leadership development.
Passionate about delving deeper and pushing beyond the traditional standards of coaching, Jody applies an approach that incorporates human behavior, psychology and neuroscience.
She has created proprietary workshops that elevated individual, team, and organization performance. JMA’s second-generation mobile app complements these workshops. Together they have been lauded as “game changing.”
Her client list includes Fortune 10, 100 and 500 market leaders such as Groupon, Abbott, PayPal, Goldman Sachs, Northwestern Medical Group, Accenture, BP, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Deloitte, NBC Universal and Sara Lee.
Her coaching philosophy stems from a combination of formal training in psychology from the University of Chicago, training under both Julio Olalla and Fernando Flores, and a 15-year career in corporate leadership at a global financial firm. Jody understands first-hand the obstacles that often stand in the way of effective leadership, as well as the best methods to overcome them and maximize performance.
She is a Master Certified Coach (MCC), a Board Certified Coach (BCC), a University of Chicago-trained licensed psychotherapist and a founding fellow of the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate.
